Goal: Create a clean 30–60 sec vlog with

Create a folder:

Resolution: 1920×1080 (HD)

Frame rate: 30 fps (common for vlogs)

Timeline name: Vlog_Edit
Bring in:

Background Music
Drag all to the timeline.
Place in order:
Trim off:

Shaky beginning
-
Mistakes at the end
-
Silent parts
Between Clip 1 and Clip 2:

Add Cross Dissolve (Premiere)

Add Cross Fade (DaVinci Resolve)

Add Basic Transition (CapCut)
Optional:

Fade in at start

Fade out at end
Drag music.mp3 under your clips.
Adjust:

Volume: –20 to –26 dB (so it doesn’t overpower your voice)

Add fade in at the start

Add fade out at the end
Intro text example:
Place it at beginning (2–3 seconds).
Set:

Font: Montserrat / Open Sans (clean)

Animation: Fade in / slide up
Optional:

Add a small lower-third title like:
For each clip:

Increase brightness slightly (+5 to +10)

Add contrast (+10)

Slight saturation (+5)
This makes vlog clips look alive.
